Church Committee

Tom McKeag
Moving to a new home in Millisle some years ago meant looking for a new spiritual home. Praise the Lord he led my wife Patsy and I to the fellowship at Millisle Elim. Right from the start we were made most welcome as members of Gods family in this part of his vineyard. We had been members of a church in Belfast where I served as an elder from 1983 until my retirement in 2002. I thank God for my brothers and sisters in that fellowship as it was a privilege to serve the Lord there also. I believe that our God makes no mistakes, the first Sunday morning in the new church God confirmed to me by his Word that I had found my new home. As the pastor read out my two favorite passages of scripture Psalm 116 and Isaiah 53 the Holy Spirit confirmed in my heart that this is the place He would have us to be in.

Sam Fulton
Sam has been a member of the fellowship since September 2001. While on a holiday to Crete he took seriously ill. It was on that trip that he asked the Lord into his heart. Millisle Elim has been his first church as a member. Since coming into the fellowship Sam has grown in strength and stature and has now been appointed as the church treasurer and in his own words said that "he gladly serves the Lord in this work"
He is married to Joan who is also a member and have 2 children called Andrew and Stuart.

Stephen Graham
Stevie has been involved with the Millisle fellowship since 1988 In actual fact he gave his heart to the Lord at a meeting held near the Millisle seafront in July of 1988 which was being organized by the Millisle church.
He has been married to his wife Margaret for 29 years and they have three children. Stevie also helps lead worship in the church as well as being involved with the children's work.

Pastor Roberts
Pastor Ivan Roberts was born and lived in Belfast for most of his life. His wife Julie also comes from Belfast and they were married in 1980. Ivan and Julie have two children, Rebecca aged 14 years and Timothy aged 12 years. As well as being the Pastor of the fellowship Ivan also helps with worship on keyboards and is actively involved with the childrens work.
